New car quote.

I am getting quotes for a new second hand car , ( bought today ) I still have my old car but will get rid of it in next 4 weeks , maybe sooner.
when getting quotes it asks how many cars does the home have , will it make the quote more expensive if I say I have one other car ? Which of course I do but not for long , there is no way to say it’s temporary .
Also it asks my profession , I let property (2) left . Do I commute , no I don’t but I park at local station max 4 times a year , it’s hardly commuting, so do I say I use it for business ? Or commuting and pleasure? 

99.9% I use it for pleasure.
I wonder how much second temporary car adds to insurance quote and using the car for business 4 times a year ?

If you let property you are presumably either a Letting Agent or Property Landlord.  No you aren't using the car for commuting if you park at a station 4 times a year.  However, if you used the car to go and collect rent (unlikely these days) that would be business use.  Likewise if you pay regular inspection visits to properties.

Many policies cover Social, Domestic and Leisure by default.  Commuting and/or business use would add-ons for which there may or may not be extra cost.  When my wife started using her car for commuting there was no extra charge, which begs the question of why commuting wasn't just included from the start.

I use the car to go to local train station a mile away 4 times a year to take train to inspect my property , hardly commuting! 

I have always said I use it for commuting but may now say it’s for Social,Domestic and Leisure .
Not sure whether to say 2 cars as old car might go next week , I am giving it away , not selling it , I have  had it for 29 years! VW golf.
