Hello, just looking for a bit of advice. My partner and I requested a SAR from CIFAS online on Tuesday evening. My partners came back clear within 24 hours however mine is still processing- is this indicative that there is something on there? I know it says it can take up to a month but just ever so slightly worrying since my partners came back so quickly!

My experience is that they generally take more time rather than less time to respond to requests - my last request took basically the full calendar month for a response and there was nothing untoward on my file. I definitely don't think there's a correlation between how fast they get back and there being anything "bad" on your file. I'd wait for their response and only follow up if they fail to respond within the allowed time.
