Old style ESA migration to UC

My ESA is made up of both income related and contributions based ESA. I am in the support group. I have received a UC migration notice letter. When I claim UC do I then lose the income related ESA but retain the contributions based amount? And do I go straight into the LCWRA group?
Thanks
Thanks

Yes the contributions based part will continue to be paid alongside Uc but is deducted in full from UC. You should automatically be awarded the LCWRA element on your Uc award.1

As above but a couple of things to note. The deduction from each months UC wiil be calculated as a years CB ESA / 12. That's because there will be one month where you get 2 CB ESA payments in one UC month, which would change you UC payment that month if they didn't average it all out over the year. Also when you make your UC claim you will (probably) get messages about possibly having a new Work Capability Assessment, and about sending in fit notes - Those are just messages spat out automatically by the UC computer and will be corrected once UC have comfirmed things with ESA, so don't panic about them.5

Seems that this is going to ramp up over the next few months and not really managed, though, when you're doing it yourself Unlike the move to ESA. Then there's the budget incoming that will be fun guessing what's getting cut next.Good luck with your move.0

Let's Be Careful Out There0 -
I've seen lots of people already across multiple places receiving the letters. I think certain sites running threads without actually confirming anything has people stressed along with Pip. I don't see this budget incoming being helpful; austerity and cuts are mostly on the cards.0
