Post Probate HMRC demand

Mum died in December 2023. Simple estate and probate has been done (by a probate company) and beneficiaries paid out. Now today I received a demand from HMRC for underpaid tax on her savings. They make no mention of her death and have my address incorrect. The letter is addressed to me (I assume as I was POA but that role finishes upon death I believe). The HMRC definitely have my new address as I have received my PAYE things here already. I tried online chat who advised I should ring. I tried to ring but got fed up holding on and on and on ...
I notified them at the time by their tell us once service. Anyone have similar experience? As it stands I have just sent the letter back to them asking if it is genuine as I cant believe that they have written to me as if she is still alive.

Have you spoken to the company that dealt with probate and the winding up of the estate?1
