THE VOICE UK SERIES 13 PRIZE DRAW: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY (“Prize Draw”)

 

Who can enter:

 

The Prize Draw is open to entrants who are: (a) residents in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man during the Prize Draw period and prize fulfilment period; (b) aged 18 years or over; and (c) not employees of the Promoter, companies within the ITV group of companies, STV Group Plc or are an immediate family member of the same; and (d) not in any way or professionally connected with the Prize Draw.

Please note that entrants must have a UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man phone number and address in order to be eligible to win the Prize Draw.

 

Opening/closing date & time:

 

•    Prize Draw in relation to The Voice UK Series 13 programme (the “Programme”) opens for entries via PRTS, SMS, post and online via the www.itv.com/win or www.stv.tv/win websites (“Website”) on Friday 30 August 2024. 
•    Prize Draw closes for entries via PRTS, SMS and online at 10.00am on Monday 18 November 2024.
•    Prize Draw closes for entries via post at 4.00pm on Thursday 21 November 2024.  

 

Winner selection & contact:

 

•    The draw will take place within one (1) week of the closing date and time for all entries. 
•    Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will win the prize.

 

How to enter & cost of entry:

Entrants who enter twice from the same phone number will receive a third entry into the Prize Draw without charge (based on the same details as submitted in the second call). For each subsequent call from the same phone number, the entrant will receive an additional entry without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their call). This therefore works as a “3 entries for the price of 2 entries” offer followed by “buy one entry get one entry free” offers. Each call costs £2.00 plus your network access charge.

 

•    SMS text – send an SMS text with or without the keyword WINNER or WIN to 61888; up to fifteen (15) paid entries per phone number. Entrants who send a second SMS text entry using the same mobile number by the closing date and time will receive a third entry into the Prize Draw without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). This therefore works as a “3 entries for the price of 2 entries” offer followed by “buy one entry get one entry free” offers. o    Direct to Mobile Billing: follow the instructions on the Website to charge the entry costs to your mobile phone bill. Direct to Mobile Billing may only be available for certain mobile networks – for details see the Website. 
o    Paypal: follow the instructions on the Website.
o    Apple Pay: follow the instructions on the Website.
o    Open Banking: follow the instructions on the Website to deduct your entry costs directly from your chosen bank account.

A single entry costs £2.00. Paid and free entry bundles may be offered from time to time as stated on the Website.

By entering online, you will also receive one (1) ticket to participate in the “Winsday” Prize Draw for every one (1) paid entry.

Each Winsday Prize Draw opens at 1.00 a.m each Wednesday and closes at 12:59 a.m the following Wednesday. The ticket generated from entering this Prize Draw will be automatically entered into Winsday draw that is live at the time of your entry. There is a cap of thirty (30) paid entries across all online platforms (“Cap”). Any Entry Credit(s) used in this Prize Draw will also contribute to the Cap.

Where you opt to enter through one of the promoted paid entry routes, ITV must have received evidence of payment of any costs (as notified to ITV by the applicable payment provider) relating to the entry (as set out in the on screen promotion and these terms and conditions) by the time that ITV conducts the winner selection in accordance with the Winner Selection & Contact section above. Any entry that does not meet this criterion will be incomplete, invalid and ineligible to win the prize.

Prize:

There is one (1) prize consisting of £100,000 cash and a trip to Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida.

 

(i) £100,000 cash

 

This element of the prize consists of £100,000 (one hundred thousand pounds) made payable by BACS in the name of the entrant only.

 

(ii) A trip to Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida

 

This element of the prize consists of an eight (8) day, seven (7) night trip for the winner and up to three (3) guests to Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida (“Trip”).  The Trip includes the following:
•    Return Premium class air transportation with Virgin Atlantic (“Airline”) for the winner and up to three (3) guests from a major commercial airport (either Edinburgh, Manchester or London Heathrow as determined by the Airline in its sole discretion) to Orlando, FL (“Flights”). The Flights are subject to the Airline’s terms and conditions available at https://help.virginatlantic.com/gb/en/policies/terms-and-conditions.html;
•    Seven (7) nights standard hotel accommodation (one (1) room with occupancy for up to four (4) people, room and tax only) at Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort (“Hotel”) or at another Universal Orlando Resort hotel (as determined by Universal Orlando in their sole discretion);
•    Non-exclusive ground transportation to and from airport and Hotel in Orlando, FL; 
•    Universal Orlando 3-Park Explorer tickets for admission to Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure theme parks and Universal Volcano Bay water theme park, for the winner and up to three (3) guests; and
•    Universal Orlando Resort Gift Cards totaling up to US$2,000 (two thousand US Dollars) to spend solely within the Universal Orlando Resort on entertainment, shopping and dining.

 

Please note that the winner will need a current and valid credit/debit card with sufficient available funds in order to check in at the Hotel for security deposit purposes.

 

The Trip must be taken by 13 December 2025 or it will be forfeited by the winner. The Trip must be booked at least sixty (60) days’ prior to the intended departure date and the winner must specify a minimum of three (3) preferred sets of dates. Please note that travel arrangements are subject to Universal Orlando’s and the Airline’s approval, blackout dates (as notified by Universal Orlando to the winner at the time of booking the Trip), availability and travel restrictions. Reservations are subject to availability. Please note that all elements of the Trip must be redeemed at the same time and no changes will be permitted after confirmation of any redemption.

If the winner elects to partake in any or all portions of the Trip with fewer than the allotted number of guests or no guests, the Trip will be awarded to the winner and each participating guest and any remainder of the Trip will be forfeited and shall not be subject to further or alternative compensation.

 

Where the winner is between the age of eighteen (18) and twenty-one (21) years old, the winner must be accompanied by an adult who is at least twenty-one (21) years old in order to check into the Hotel. Where any of the winner’s guests are aged under eighteen (18) years old, the guest must be the child or legal ward of the winner or one (1) of the winner’s guests who is over the age of eighteen (18) as of the date of departure and must travel on the same itinerary and at the same time as the winner.  

 

The winner and their guest(s) must hold a current and valid passport and any other relevant travel documentation required for travel to and entry to the United States of America (USA), including but not limited to: (i) Covid-19 related documentation; and (ii) making a timely application for receipt of ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) authorisation under the Visa Waiver Program. Please note that the winner and their guest(s) must allow seventy-two (72) hours between the ESTA application and travel. ESTA application can be done online at the official website: https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov. Travellers to the USA under the Visa Waiver Program must hold a passport with an integrated chip. Passports must be valid for travel with a minimum of six (6) months on the date of departure from the UK when taking up the Trip.

 

It is the responsibility of the winner to: 
•    obtain, at their own expense, any necessary travel documentation (i.e. valid photo identification, visas, passports, etc.) prior to travel;
•    ensure that they and/or their guest(s) adhere to the visa entry requirements to the USA;
•    ensure that the travelling party is adequately insured including without limitation covering overseas medical costs;
•    ensure that the travelling party adheres to the travel itinerary and other relevant safety instructions as set out by Universal Orlando and the Airline; and 
•    adhere to the local laws in the USA including but not limited to the legal age limit for buying, drinking and possessing alcoholic beverages which is 21 years or over.

 

The Trip excludes ground transport between the winner’s (and/or their guests’) home address and the airport and all other transportation (other than as specified above). The Trip consists only of the elements expressly set forth above; no other elements or expenses (including, without limitation, meals and drinks, excursions, attractions (other than those specified above), treatments, laundry service, hotel room service, car hire, gasoline, air travel taxes and/or expenses, inspection charges, additional baggage fees, security charges, travel insurance, personal expenses, incidentals, visas, vaccinations, hotel room service, laundry service, merchandise, souvenirs, tips, gratuities, incidentals, service charges, car parking charges, taxes and local and long distance telephone calls, etc.) are included in the Trip and all such expenses are the sole responsibility of the winner.

 

The Trip (including the Flights) may not be sold, traded, transferred or rescheduled. All elements of the Trip are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any form of promotional discount. The tickets may not be reissued or changed once travel has commenced. Open tickets will not be issued and stopovers are not permitted. Travel arrangements will be made through Universal Orlando Resort, and all elements of the Trip must be redeemed within the Trip. The winner and their guests must travel at the same time and on the same itinerary.

 

In connection with any visit to Universal Orlando Resort, please be advised that Universal Orlando Resort’s policies, CDC guidelines, and the recommendations of health officials must be followed.  In addition, guests should be aware of and comply with government guidelines regarding travel restrictions and mandatory quarantines before visiting any Universal destination (which can be found here).  Please note that any public location where people are present provides an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19, and Universal Orlando cannot guarantee that any person will not be exposed during a visit.

 

All parts of the Trip are subject to availability and blackout dates (as notified by Universal Orlando Resort and the Airline to the winner at the time of booking the Trip), and subject to change without written notice or warning. Should an act of God, hurricane, war, fire, riot, earthquake, act of public enemies, actions of governmental authorities, epidemics, pandemics and the spread of infectious diseases, including without limitation COVID-19 (as defined by the World Health Organization and any of the strains, variants or mutations thereof), and any related governmental or judicial actions taken in connection with, or as a response to, any such event, or any other event beyond the reasonable control of a party, whether or not existing, known, foreseen or foreseeable at the time this promotion occurs, render the redemption or fulfilment of some or all of the Trip delayed, hindered, adversely affected, impracticable, or impossible, Universal Orlando Resort in its sole and absolute discretion, reserves the right to evaluate and make modifications to the redemption and fulfilment processes and timelines for any Trip or portion of a Trip that Universal Orlando Resort is responsible for, which may include but is not limited to providing additional time for redemption and/ or fulfilment. Should the Trip become unavailable, experiences and items of a similar nature and value may be offered. 
Please note that the winner and their companion(s) will be required to enter into a release with Universal Orlando in order to take-up the Trip.
