"octopriceuk.app" Tariff Comparison TOU Tariffs
Just a quick check, can anyone confirm that the tariff comparison actually uses my own recorded half hourly data? I would have though it should, but got me wondering because it gives a comparison with Intelligent Octopus Flux and as far as I can see Octopus don't publish the hours where peak rates are in effect.

Octopus has an API that allows you to grab data about upcoming prices & time slots - I use BottlecapDave's Home Assistant integration to save me the hassle of diving in to the API. I would have thought other apps use the same API, and Octopus would provide data for all their ToU tariffs through it.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Just had another look and I don't think it does use your actual H/H data. I say that because we've only been exporting since 31st May and Octopus only have data from 15th June, but Octoprice compare gives calculations for the various export tariffs for 12 months from 1st Sep 2023. So either it's extrapolated or using some generic assumptions.0
