I love a spreadsheet. Made one to keep an eye on everything, including future costs, long term savings etc even a reminder to get the car insurance quote 26 days before renewal date. Use hyperjar pots for day to day spending, shared with my OH.

Building my kids' savings from day one. Education and consistency are key to financial control.
Budgeting and using referral codes have been a game changer, I no longer pay for my dog's food.
