how are you going to tell them your address, or discuss where to meet? unless you put your phone number or address on the listing somehow, it's impossible to send them a message containing contact details

I have had buyers give me their private email addresses a couple of times - not in relation to collection and nothing was picked up by ebay.

None of my accounts, business or private will allow an email address to go through messages at all, not even using the system where i substitute the . with the word dot.
