Guys will I get a ticket I was turning right and stopped at a box junction inside. Thought it was clear then moved and it wasn't bike came zooming through so had to stop again and then followed by cars. So I was blocking the oncoming lane slightly they still went past me but got a few dirty looks. Am I likely to get a fine for this as I was turning right. Wish I just waited until it was completely clear and their lights changed red . Defo cctv on this junction. So my question is really can you get a ticket for gling to far right and blocking part of the oncoming lane who at that time had right of way

I don't think anyone can answer your first question.
Wait and see what happens.2 -
You should not enter a box junction unless your exit is clear, but you can if turning right and are blocked by oncoming traffic. Will you get a ticket, only the operator knows that no one on here, and if you do go to:

You won't get a PCN as waiting to turn right is exempt.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Where stationary traffic would be likely to block a junction, a yellow box may be marked on the road, covering all or part of the junction. You must not enter the box if your exit is not clear. If turning right at the junction, you may enter the box (behind other right-turning vehicles, if any) to wait for a gap in the oncoming traffic, but only if the right-turn exit is clear.
So if you thought the junction was clear and entered it but then were blocked by someone you shouldn't get a ticket.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
