Good morning, it's a fine start here.
I had my hair done yesterday, what a relief, I looked terrible! Spent the rest of the day tidying drawers.
Not much planned for today, might go out for a walk.
Thinking of our poorly and sad people, take care folks.

Morning folks and thanks SCARLET. The sun is shining and we are forecast a day without intermittent drizzle.
Yesterday it felt much milder, even when the sun was in hiding. I stuck to my intentions and defrosted the freezer top of the few steps down into the garage. I had the usual waterfall down the steps! It seemed a shame to waste the nice weather doing indoor jobs so I went out back and cut some stuff back and emptied a few pots of dying stuff. Meanwhile the front garden is getting messier by the day but I am ignoring it until the young chap comes back from his month tour of France and Germany and comes to assess what can be done to make my life easier.
I suppose this morning will be the usual Thursday kitchen and bathroom clean if I can bear the excitement and then I may be ruled by the weather which is supposed to be warm and sunny. Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for everyone in need of them. Take care all, stay safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. Morning All
Thanks for the start Scarlet, glad you feel better for your haircut.
More rain due today although it's not too bad at the moment, I had to do some washing last night as I'm running out of T shirts I wear to bed! I think it's to be better over the weekend so should be able to catch up then.
I had a good nights sleep for a change, maybe I'm catching up from not sleeping last week when I had covid, hope so. Work is incredibly busy too.
Hoping everyone is well, hugs to those not feeling so good. Take care. XX11 -

A weary hello - been awake since 530am 😕
Didn’t get the planned craft work done yesterday as finished up pruning loads of soft fruit bushes, DDad is managing some pottering/gardening and was armed with secateurs so I had to assist - good to see him back to some normal jobs. He has his 6 week follow up with the knee surgeon today.Dog walk in the forest this morning to try to find some pine cones, not sure if it’s too early to collect them but want some for Christmas crafts.Hope everyone has a good day

Hi everyone,
Yesterday was a bit of a washout because we had to wait in for a delivery and by the time it arrived it was too late to really do anything. I was quite tired as well because I seem to have joined the not sleeping thread this week. I actually managed to get to sleep by 1am last night but wasn't very peaceful.
Today we're going to see my Aunt, mum's youngest sister and one of my favourite people, she really has mastered the art of being positive about life, everyone who meets her ends up feeling better for it.
Have a good day.12 -
Morning all, sunny and cold so far [ who knows what the rest of the day will bring?] one builder already outside but I have stolen a march and the tea is set up ready for hot water. I had some much with letters on because they're big and the shape keeps the tea hotter longer so they all have mugs with their initials now, much easier to remember who has what sugar. Having pretty princess feet today in preparation for open toed sandals and I gave them a good scrub last night, the dirt is ingrained, with the builders here and I walk barefoot in the house, they were just black underneath from the stuff they track in.Izzy, I'm glad you have a good job being done, happy new house
mehefin, you've really created a sunflower theme, when I look at one now, i will think of you and dawn..got to go, tea's to make!

Morning all - thanks for starting us off @Scarlet.Well, would you believe it, there's pouring rain outside. Germany seems such a long time ago! I shall look at the photos and try to imagine myself back there. This morning I have my long awaited cortisone injection into my right hip
it's being done under a local so only slight pain. I'm told that the effects take about two weeks to kick in so I'll have to be patient a little longer.
It's lovely to hear about fresh paint, cleared out freezers, all the sunflowers and princess feet. I'm keen to hear about little ones coming home.Take care everyone.10 -
Good morning everyone
Well my resolution to post more often disappeared for a couple of days. I would like to say it was because I was so busy but that would be telling porkies.
Anyhow it is fine but a little chilly here, hoping to get my washing out on the line. I have a little shopping to do and then on to see dear SIL. After that I would like to get into the garden, I have weeding to do and general tidying. It's funny how I start to plan for taking the plants up for winter even before they have finished blooming.
So that is the plan, will it happen? Who knows!
Thinking of the sad and the poorlies as always.
Take care x10 -
