Lease extension not showing on land registry

Hi all,
I carried out a lease extension in 2022 to take my lease up to from 60 to 120 years.
I've just sold the flat and my buyers solicitors have raised that the lease extension has not been registered yet.
I have email proof from the solicitors used that it has been complete in 2022 and I have since mortgaged using the valuation on the lease being extended etc.
what is the outlook here? is this going to be a show stopper? any reassurance and help would be appreciated.
Thanks!!

"Not registered yet" meaning it's been submitted for registration and that has yet to be completed by the Land Registry? Or not submitted for registration at all?0

I am in the dark on the answer to this one, I have emails saying it had been submitted back in 2022. Once the money was paid and my re-mortgage complete I unfortunately put it to the back of my mind. I had assumed it would just get registered.
fast forward 2 years and I am in my current situation.
I have emailed the solicitor who carried out the ext for some more info but being 1645 when I sent the email I will be waiting until tomorrow for the response.0 -

We do have a backlog of such work and wait times can unfortunately be that long re such a surrender and regrant.
However if you have a buyer then your conveyancer can, and perhaps has, requested expedition to reduce that wait time.
Worth checking with them to ensure that they have and to ask if what progress has been made - they should be able to confirm that for you and share a title number/ABR reference. Ask them for that and post here and I can check from our end.“Official Company Representative

I can't tell whether there has been an application which has either been cancelled or rejected, or whether there has never been an application at all. My guess would be that the 2022 application had requisitions raised on it which were not responded to in the timeframe, and it has been cancelled as a result, though.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
