    To say that's excessive is an understatement. Unsure what the objective was in doing so. At a point a degree of common sense has to be used in allowing due process to take it's course. As frustrating as it maybe.

    So you cannot leave them as you refuse to pay the debt?

    A debt that others have asked you, as you have the meter readings, what should it be as the calculation is easy. Surely after all this time you have done this and presented that to the ombudsman and Ovo?

    Hi OP - if you post your meter readings for the start of the period in question, and a current one now, along with relevant dates, then someone here will be able to work out your use and I would guess also a rough approximation of what that use should have cost you.

    OVO have neither the authority or ability to "upgrade software" on anyone's meter. There is a very stringent set of protocols to follow, and it will be the DCC that does the actual upgrade.
    What is more likely is OVO have made some changes to their back end billing system without fully testing the code before rollout (Crowdstrike did a similar thing recently).

    Exactly. I was highlighting that that the OP had better get some better/actual evidence if they plan to take OVO to court.
