Fuse / Resooma energy bills for students

Has anyone had any experiences with the above companies, or similar, while sharing student accommodation? They charge a fixed fee for energy and it is supposed to make it easy for students to pay the bill as they all have the money taken out individually rather than just one person having sole responsibility for the bill.

Yes. They are catastrophic in most cases.
They don't actually charge a fixed fee despite the advertising, are almost impossible to cancel, and have some of the strangest T&Cs you will find.0 -
Thanks. Any examples?0

They charge you a rate that is often more expensive than you could get elsewhere. So you are paying for the convenience of having them handle the billing.I’ve looked at the Resooma website, if one of the students misses payments they will switch the WiFi off until the account is back in credit!Read the reviews on trustpilot for Resooma, 27% are only 1 star and the comments talk of debt collectors etc https://ca.trustpilot.com/review/resooma.com?stars=1I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages, student & coronavirus Boards, money saving boards.
