What 'evidence' to include in original appeal letter

Hi - just received a postal Parking Charge Notice for apparently parking in a Bridlington car park for 8 hours (Local Car Park Management, member of BPA). Have been reading the newbies thread and seems I just send the appeal template straight away - just wondering what supporting information (if any) to include in the appeal?
We were on holiday at the time and bank records show we bought a 4-hour ticket at 10am. The PCN has a photo of us entering the car-park at 10am and then leaving at 6pm. I'm 100% certain we left before the 4 hours were up (no way did we spend 8 hours wondering round Brid!), but have no evidence of this - either we went back to the car park later in the day and bought a ticket with cash or else left the car park cos there were no spaces (it's a very small car-park). So should I include the bank statement? I'm thinking it doesn't really prove anything, but then again I have no way of proving we didn't actually stay in the car park for 8 hours.

Just appeal as keeper using the template appeal in the newbies sticky thread in announcements by coupon mad
Check if the NTK PCN letter complies with POFA first
Check the in and out pictures and timestamps etc too, before any appeal, but they will claim that the cameras don't lie and insufficient time was purchased for the period on the car park1 -
The appeal won't work by the way. We aren't saying it will.
Strategy for LPS is to ignore them longer term. You don't have to pay private PCNs. Nothing is likely to happen except daft £170 threatograms.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
