It is fine if you got a receipt and when you log into MCOL it doesn't say there's a judgment.

  • Thanks for reassuring advice.
My Defence is ""in" and acknowledged but having failed to attach my personal Defençe the actual Defence is very much the template defence via mobile email as the more personal Defence would not go via desktop/tablet. My error and that's how it is.
On a separate matter I have received 2 phonecalls from DCB Legal on my mobile number to which I have not replied.
How did they get my mobile number?

From a credit ref agency soft trace, which is allowed. Your number will be attached to a credit record: insurance, or your bank account maybe.

  • DCB Legal have phoned me a number of times recently and I eventually responded. I was polite but they seemed to be interested in some form of negotiation or mediation. I said that their suggestion might be prejudicial to my defence in court which I intended to pursue and I was expecting to receive forms from Northampton involving Directions Questionnaire. Am I on the right track?

You were expecting them to ring to try for 'settlement', I hope? This is their usual MO.

It's because they have almost no intention (based on our evidence) of getting as far as hearings. They'll try again.

Laugh at them and tell them to hurry up and discontinue!
