Halifax old account

I have an old Halifax account, possibly liquid gold 
I can't find any info on it but I regularly get letters from the Halifax about interest rate changes etc.
I can't find account number etc and it's possibly pre email . I can't log onto their site as I have no info, I've tried contacting them in person but they are no help whatsoever.
I want to know if there was any balance left in it, but can't get any help. Received another letter today so must still have an account somewhere

Very similar thing happened to me. I had a Coventry savings account many years ago and withdrew all the money, end of story or so I thought. Recently I started to have correspondence from them about this account but no details on A/C number etc. Can’t phone them as I’m deaf so emailed them and explained and they said it best if I phoned!!😳. Anyway opened a regular saver with them the other day and the account appeared showing discontinued and dormant.

Take the letter into a Halifax branch and ask them.

Liquid gold was a branch passbook account - born_again's link should get you more info from their dormant account team
