Thanks SC, he just called me and said it didn't go well....he had to do a presentation that said in the invite it was to be 10 minutes, he came in at 9 minutes and one of the panel said "oh that went a bit long didn't it" which threw him off his game.  Add in that they only asked him 3 questions and said he only had 15 minutes left to answer the last one and he just felt very flustered.  Feel very annoyed on his behalf because the guy who kept making the "time" comments isn't even going to be working with whoever gets the role - just hoping that his current manager who was the other person on the panel takes the guy to task because you do not make comments like that in an interview 😡  Or maybe it's just me and my public sector training that tries to make interviews a supportive and encouraging environment?  I mean I've sat in on some particularly bad interviews but I've only once asked someone if they thought we should terminate the interview when it became very very obvious that they had absolutely no idea how to answer the questions we had about the role.

Anywho, he's off to drown his sorrows with his dad to celebrate his birthday while I'm in the office today.  Hoping my interview next week isn't as horrific - I don't hold out much hope with the head of department we have at the moment!

    Congratulations on the promotions 🥳!

So frustrating about your Dad's surgery, I can't imagine what it must be like to be totally geared up for it and then it not happen. Hopefully he gets a new date soon x

Well done on the dble promotions! Sounds like you have a lot on and sorry re your health issues.
I have been focusing successfully on getting the visceral fat down and feel so much better its fairly painless. Worse part is socialising on reduced intake ..
