JSA Question, have a job offer for next week...

I am due to attend an appt at the JSA centre tomw. However I have a job offer to start on Monday. I have been asked to go into sort paperwork tomw.

If I email my coach (which she said i will need to do if I can't attend) and explain, will they stop my final payment which I would then be due to receive Monday?

Thanks if you can help.

The rules say you need a 'good reason' to not attend, but the 'good reason' is up to the office you attend, so you can only ask. I would have thought sorting out a new job for next week a very good reason but I'm not your JSA officer

Thankyou. I am thinking I might try and re schedule the work meeting, attend the morning JSA and then email on Sunday to close my claim. Will have a think this afternoon

I wouldn't try to reschedule the meeting with the company you are joining.  That won't look good.  E-mail the JC and explain why you can't attend.
