Are Ebay selling recalled toys?

We all know a lot of toys have been recalled, but where do they go? I searched on google for recalled toys and the third sponsored link in the Google results was this -

Recalled Toys on eBay for less.

Do they allow this? If not what are they playing at?

if you type anything into google ebay will have it,its just an advert,ebay dont actualy sell anything anyway it would be an ebay member if it was.
im sure if you type in crack who£es into google you will find an ebay link popping up somewhere on the first page saying "crack who£es on ebay for less!"

I can mod the signature, not a problem.
It seems only ebay uk are offering this ad- google.com doesn't have an ebay.com advert for recalled toys.

What we are saying is that they aren't really selling recalled toys they just put whatever your search word is into the advert. If you searched for numpty toys it would say 'numpty toys for sale on ebay' its just to get you to click on the link to increase traffic to ebays site.

Ebay don't sell anything anyway, sellers do.

I'm not sure what the point of the original post is, like others have said ebay will come up as a link whatever you put into a Google search. It might be useful to know and understand more how Google works.

Through MSE I found out about Tesco deals and a forum on www.paidtoshop.co.uk is where I get any info on points collecting. I saved the £3465 in 9 months (3 mailings) but its quite quiet at the moment.

Ok looked closer and ebay http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/items-ov.html and under Questionable they have Hazardous, Restricted and Perishable items http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/hazardous-materials.html but that doesn't cover recalled toys.

You're right ebay doesn't sell this stuff, but presumably a shop doesn't offer recalled goods for sale so why would an auction?

btw, google tobacco - no paid ads at all. google explosives - just three paid ads, one from Maplin who definitely do not sell that!

I don't know if it is deliberate or a mistake that ebay.co.uk are paying for adverts for recalled toys - looks like ebay.com doesn't let ads come up for recalled toys.

If anyone buys recalled toys off ebay I wonder if they can pursue a refund.
