Morning (just)
Very dull start here but starting to brighten up now.
Today I'm going to do a freezer inventory. I tend to do a big stock up of the freezer at the end of the month ready for the next month, so around this time its "ifits"
.Ruby, enjoy your holiday
Camelot and dp1, hope the little ones are home soon
Derek, thinking of you
Love to all x

Hello everyone from Mehefinland
Just back from taking in the cash donation to CRUK in our nearest town. Amazed to hand over in excess of £500. The lady was so pleased to receive it. I have said I will donate clothing when I feel ready but not yet. Some of Dawn's stuff is probably vintage and apparently there is a good market for it, if not locally then they have an outlet specifically for it.
Took some beans from my ravaged crop to my good friend Kate ( who pitched up unannounced with a load of meals for me one day when I was up the field. Just a text saying - left you something on your step). Family proceeded to eat them raw . It was the last of them as the plants were completely mangled by the wind, so it was nice to repay a bit of hospitality/kindness, and they enjoyed them.
My sunflowers are still a topic of conversation!! Funny how something so small has become significant to many. Hopefully next year there will sunflowers all over the village - I have a plan!!
Still waiting on the green waste bags to go today - I may get chance to fill another after I have dome the horse chores.
Well time and tide ( and horses) wait for no man so I will wish you all the best.
Hugs and spoons as always

Taff, thanks for the good wishes for a full night's sleep, but I haven't had a full night for years - Travelling Abuela would probably say the same!
Peony, it's not dreams that wake me, don't know what it is. I'm like TA, I wake-up and start worrying about people and situations. What good does it do? None, but the middle of the night is a funny place.
If I slept from 11 pm to 7am I would be amazed!8 -
Afternoon everyone
Little one had another good night - DD is hopeful they'll get home before the weekend.
Hope your new little one is home soon too Camelot - this Granny business is very stressful isn't it?
I've been down to mam and dads this morning for a cuppa, it was nice as my niece and her little boy were there too....I hadn't seen them for a while. She's going to take DDs kitten to the vets for me on Friday morning as it's near to where she works - kitten is going in to get neutered.
Then I walked along for some shopping - the bus home was running late and it started raining, then the wind got up so my umbrella kept going inside out, I was quite damp by the time it came as there's no bus shelter
DD asked me to try to get in touch with the head at school as the community nurses need to speak to her to arrange training before little one can go back to school....so I got that sorted for her.
I'm now going to make a big pot of bolognese sauce and then I think it will be a couple of hours with my book.
Hope everyone has a good day today x7
