  • I am on fully remote contract and my employer refused to get me a chair. I have been working on dining chair for the last 5 months.
I was told only work from home employees can get a chair provided by employer but with fully remote contract you get nothing…
    is this fair?
    what should i do?

Are you effectively contracting for them, and so are self employed? If so you'd need to provide the chair/desk etc.

I presume the homeworkers are employees - their chairs though still belong to the employer.
  • I'm self employed and bought a 2nd hand Lazy Boy office chair off of FB marketplace a couple of years ago. It's by far the most comfortable office chair I've ever sat on, lots of padding and very well made.
