A new chair for working from home

Are you effectively contracting for them, and so are self employed? If so you'd need to provide the chair/desk etc. 

I presume the homeworkers are employees - their chairs though still belong to the employer.

I'm self employed and bought a 2nd hand Lazy Boy office chair off of FB marketplace a couple of years ago. It's by far the most comfortable office chair I've ever sat on, lots of padding and very well made.
