thanks guys, so Ive had an accountant for the last 12 years,, else as a sole trader,,, I cant get mortgages without a chartered one..
just looking for advice from all avenues including my accountant to put my own worries of being on the right side of everything to bed!

So not necessarily Chartered.
Sounds like yours isn't a current member so the accounts they have produced won't be acceptable to a lender.
I'm guessing you are using your tax returns are evidence of earnings.
