Does Chase pay cashback if you pay via Paypal (ebay)

Hi I have won some auctions on ebay from (value of the entire basket just over £500, two items value over £100, the other three are under £100).
I would like to pay via paypal just for that added bit of protection, but thought I'd check on here to confirm if
1) Chase gives you cashback the same way it would if I'd just paid using Chase at checkout.
2) Would paying with Chase via paypal break the Chargeback protection that debit cards have? (Would using Paypal guest be an alternative to keep chargeback protection)
3) And a longshot, but does anybody know if you can split the payment between two cards? So I could pay a small sum like £1 on my Credit Card for s75 protection and pay the rest on Chase so I get the cashback?
Thanks

In the Chase app under Manage Card you can add the card to PP it's states you still earn 1% but exceptions apply, I expect they are the standard ones that applies to the card.

Thanks, I'll check back on here later to see if anybody can confirm whether their own Paypal transactions have earned cashback. And also keen to see if anybody has any info on points 2) and 3)0
