Called my bank to cancel direct debit and they said need to send an email to confirm I tried cancelling with them. But what's the email address I send to to attempt to get refund and cancel future direct debits?

Is it a direct Debit or a card payment?
Sounds more like a CPA given the requirement to contact them.Life in the slow lane1 -
It'll almost certainly be a CPA as @born_again says. As I understand things, banks are duty-bound to action a customer request to cancel a CPA, regardless of whether or not you can evidence trying to contact the recipient ... but sometimes you may need get past first line support at the bank as their script may return Computer Says No to such a request.Jenni x1
