Morning all
It rained consistently yesterday until about 5.30 in the evening and then the sun came out!
Better today and the rest of the week thank goodness.
DH arrived last night and we took the dogs for a walk and he's already up and out with the big one who needs to use up his energy!
A nice day in the garden today enjoying the sun methinks
Take care everyone x

Good morning, thanks for starting Chrisca.
It's sunny here but the forecast is not good, yesterday wasn't bad though.
We weren't out at all yesterday, I didn't do any gardening but tidied some drawers and a wardrobe so still got something done. Dh is sorting the shed out, don't know if he'll continue today.
Hope everyone has as good a day as they can today, thinking of our sad and poorly people. Take care folks.

Got all the washing dry yesterday and housework out of the way the kitchen needs a good clean today but other than that not a lot happening. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing11

Morning folks and thanks CHRISCA. Another blooming sleepless night for me, I'm really getting fed up now. No doubt a nana nap will be needed this afternoon.
We currently have blue sky and sunshine but not forecast to last. Such a shame with the village cricket club fun day planned. DS got well stocked up on cans, cartons and snacks yesterday at the wholesalers. It was difficult knowing how much to get with the weather forecast as they don't want to be stuck with lots of stuff, but nor do they want to run out. So a lot of fingers are crossed that the rain doesn't happen.
No plans for me so a day of sloth, either watching rubbish or reading. I have just prepped some veg for my lunch, with hopefully enough for leftovers to warm up tomorrow.
Have a nice day folks if you can and I hope it's more exciting than mine! ((HUGS)) for all our poorlies, getting there or just fed up. Take care xx

Morning all,
It is brighter outside today, much calmer and drier than yesterday. We were going to go out in the garden but it is too sodden so I shall wait a couple of days for it to dry out. We have a Bantry Bay rose that looks sad, so I want to see if I can do anything with it.
I am currently awaiting a grocery delivery and once that has been put away I am going to empty out my wardrobe. I have a scented sachet in there, and I hate the smell of the thing, it is so strong and everytime I wear something I think ‘ugh’. So, I will throw it out and wash all my clothes ready to hang on the line in the sunshine we are due.
Apart from this, and cooking roast chicken for tonight’s dinner I have nothing else planned.
Thinking of you all. Redruby, have a lovely holiday.

Morning all. Thanks for starting us off @Chrisca.Yesterday the temperature was a strength sapping 35° and 26° at 10.30p.m. Too darn hot! The birthday lunch was a long lazy affair with about 45 people there. A lot of extended family and assorted friends. There was only one woman doing it all, I was very impressed. The evening was close family so lots of chat. I'm pretty peopled out so am not going the outing this morning so will meet them all for lunch. We leave here very early tomorrow for the long'ish drive back to Frankfurt airport and home.I hope that everyone gets a bit of sunshine and a lot of sleep.11

Morning everyone and 'thank you' for starting us off Chrisca.
The sun is shining this morning and so I have a load of washing on the line already. A friend is coming for a chat and coffee this morning.
Hope everyone has a good Bank Holiday. xx10 -
Morning everyone
The wind has got up again here though it is sunny, unfortunately forecast to rain later.
I managed to get another stretch of fence painted yesterday, just a short piece to do now - it will probably have to wait till tomorrow morning.
Gers - that's exactly how I was when I visited eldest DD in Nuremberg - while she was loving it I thought I was going to melt! Until she moved there I never knew it got so hot in Germany. She spent yesterday at the nearby outdoor pool.
Little one is still very tired but slowly improving. Her feed is being increased slowly and once she can tolerate it at the level they need it to be, they should get home.
I'm going down to sit with dad this morning while mam goes to church, I'll write his email to eldest DD.
Hope everyone has a good day today x

Good morning everyone
I am trying to keep to my resolution to myself to post most days even though I don't usually have much to report. I have been reading along for a while with the occasional posting and have decided to join in more.
The sun is shining here but having opened the door I have decided it is quite chilly and windy. I have a wash to put on and then the garden calls. I need to do some dead heading and straightening plus the unenviable task of crawling under some netting to harvest a cauliflower.
Gers - enjoy the rest of your stay and safe journey home
DP1 - hope little one continues to improve
Nan - hope all is well
Derek - thinking of you
Thoughts also as always with the sad and the poorlies
Take care x10 -
Morning all...it's sunny but cold so I've got my winter long hoodie on..Today is add to the tiles n the garden and possibly go out with OH to a club and drink some drinks for a change. I've got so much to do this week I feel a bit rabbit in the headlights. I've just been out to garden a bit, seen one of the baby foxes [ baby..well, she's about the size of fatty now but a bit taller], staked up some herbs, flung some fox poo in a corner, looked at the tiles...I will shower and dress in a bit and see what I cn do from my list...more bread and butter pickles I think with the courgettes I just picked tomorrow...better start packing I suppose.Gers, have a lovely time. Coxy, hope you're enjoying the walking! camelot, congratulaions on your new grandchild..Hope the weather is kind to you all this wekkend, enjoy!Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi6

Hi everyone,
It was Nate's party yesterday so we went early to help, left after everyone left, bringing Esben and Esther with us because Laura and Brian were going out for a meal. I am shattered today.
Unfortunately it poured down most of the day so the party went ahead indoors, it's lucky they have a big house. It brightened up enough at the end to allow some play on the bouncy castle.
Today we are going up to Yorkshire so I hope the weather is kind this week.
Have a good day.7
