Tesco & Santander CCs

in Credit cards
I have been repeatedly rejected for Tesco Credit Cards and Santander Credit Cards, without any light or any reason given, as usual. It doesn't affect me whatsoever as I have over 8 credit cards with mainstream providers for some of which I applied on the same day I was rejected by those two.
I am no curious however why Tesco and Santander would reject my application? Tesco said that they could only find negative information on my Experian report. So I requested full statutory report from Experian. Once the passkey was delivered by Snail Mail, I got 55 pages long report that doesn't appear to have any negative information, and looks accurate. Any guesses?
I am just looking to satisfy my curiosity.

BT would be useful at some point and those providers sometimes have good BT offers. I can't care less about the amount of available credit.Hoenir said:

Maybe it's the number of cards and applications for credit you are making?

The lenders will though. If you are frequently BTing . Then that's a red flag as well.Emily_Joy said:

But other lenders don't mind. The credit utilisation is quite low and the credit available to me is still somewhat less than my ISA savings. I understand however the lender's won't see that.Hoenir said:
