    Appeal as the keeper only. No ticking or selecting anything except “keeper” or “other”.

    I am the keeper of the vehicle and I dispute your 'parking charge'. I deny any liability or contractual agreement and I will be making a complaint about your predatory conduct to your client landowner.

    As your Notice to Keeper (NtK) does not fully comply with ALL the requirements of PoFA 2012, you are unable to hold the keeper of the vehicle liable for the charge. Partial or even substantial compliance is not sufficient. There will be no admission as to who was driving and no inference or assumptions can be drawn. Smart has relied on contract law allegations of breach against the driver only.

    The registered keeper cannot be presumed or inferred to have been the driver, nor pursued under some twisted interpretation of the law of agency. Your NtK can only hold the driver liable. Smart have no hope at POPLA, so you are urged to save us both a complete waste of time and cancel the PCN.

    That is all you need. The keeper can't lose.

    Obviously don't tick 'DRIVER' on the webpage.

    So easy and you'd have found this just by forum-searching: Smart Parking appeal

    Yes, thank you, is it better to appeal through the website or by letter?

    Good day! I tried to appeal but the PCN and car registration were not found in the system. Today I tried to call them, but the phone is unavailable. They suggest writing to them by email. What is the best way to proceed in this case, ignore it completely or still sort it out further?

    Its probably been cancelled, but try a different browser and ensure that the details are correct

    If that fails, use the complaint link from the BPA AOS members list to complain about the PCN and site, adding the earlier appeal for completeness, just in case

    Otherwise its use the postal appeal on the back, as keeper, everything done as keeper

    What made you try on Smart Parking's own website? That's the wrong webpage for your ticket and not how the back of your LPS PCN tells you to appeal.

    @Coupon-mad is right.

    Using the information supplied in your posts - VRM and PCN number - anyone using the right webpage can pay your charge for you.
    Not that you'll be using it, but the reduced rate of £60 is still available for one day. :)

    However, reading LPS's appeals webpage, it appears that appeals must be submitted by email.
