Lifetime interest in property registration

My deceased partners Will left me life time interest in the property as tenants in common and his share of property left in trust to his 2 daughters.  I have received Grant of Probate and told I need to register my lifetime interest with the HMRC.  I have gone on their site and started to register the trust choosing Organisation as I was told to and putting the trust in my name with me as the beneficiary.  I am really not sure if I am doing this right and do not want to muck things up.  As a pensioner I do not have the funds to employ a solicitor.  Have I set the trust up correctly? it says it will be removed if not registered after 28 days but I could see where to go to next on the site!!!  Any guidance appreciated.

I honestly don't know.  But a group like Citizen's Advice might.  Many of them have a legal type who can help advise on these things.  Alternatives are to ask if there's a local firm that does pro bono work or will give you a half hour free.  And another but less likely to be helpful in my opinion might be if you have legal cover on your house or car insurance.

Oh - and maybe Age UK?  Seems to be the sort of thing they might have run in to before.
