eBay buying: what is best payment method?

eBay is offering among others, pay with:
visa card no. xxxx 
PayPal when I log into PP it says uses visa card (same card No.)

eBay says both methods offer eBay buyer protection.

Does the seller lose more in fees if I opt for PayPal? 

If both methods are the same to me and to the seller it makes no difference then?

It makes no difference to the seller who you pay, even if you trundle up with cash. Under managed payments the seller Final value fees are the same regardless .

I still use paypal although that no longer gives such an enhanced protection like it used to- so whatever method I use I am ultimately reliant on the ebay system.
