eBay sellng: buyer requests a return

Hello,
I sold a container, which I describled very clearly and carefully that it 'would fit most of the models". However, the buyer seemingly has a larger model in a different shape, so the container I sold doesn't fit, and she wishes to return it.
I've contacted 3 CS persons, one gave me this reponse saying I need not to accept it, as there's no problem in my descriptions. Then the buyer opens a case for the reason of 'does not meet the descriptions', and the other two CS persons changed the first one's solution and want me to accept the return. They want me to create a free return label for the buyer, and I will be reimbursed a small amount of £3.5, which doesn't even cover the return postage. What suprises me is, I will have to refund for the postage the buyer paid for! I feel sooo angry over eBay's siding with the buyer . These 3 CS person all claimed that my listings is correct, no false advertising, but why will I need to bear the loss? I'm ok to get it back, but it's not right for me to pay for the original postage!
I'm a private seller, and I know by book I can reject most return requests. Is there any way to argue with eBay again???
Thanks.

It's honestly not worth the grief it engenders. Just take the hit and forget it. I tried for weeks on something like this and eventually Ebay threatened to block my account0

I feel unprotected if the potential buyer wishes to return and makes false claims. In that case the postage will be a total loss for me coz sending out higher value products you will have to pay for insurance too.
The CS monkeys kept saying they have seller protection too, and that irriates me big time. Their so-called protection is getting the item back, and then filing a case against the buyer. eBay will reimburse you £3.5 for creating the return label, and the buyer might be marked and might be blocked by eBay if the same thing happens often. But, do you think this type buyer would care if he or she got blocked?

I know that in some circumstances sellers can appeal a return, but I don't know if you have to go through the process of receiving the item first and I also don't know if you have to have a certain type of account or certain rating. @soolin may know as they've successfully defended spurious returns before.0

I don't get what you meant in the last sentence.
There're 2 types of accounts, private or business. The private acccount holders can reject 'change of mind' return requests, but not to other types. And according to EU and UK laws, sellers need to accept the requests, and that's how I was told by eBay. The business account holders on the other need to accept all the returns.

If your account is one that can do that (as I said, I don't know if it's limited to certain types or rated sellers) it will come down to exactly what you put in the item specifics and the description.0
