Hello again, it's a windy grey morning here, and a bit chilly.
Thank you for all your good wishes, you're all very kind.
Mehefin, I'll be thinking of you today, I'm sure we all will be. It's the saddest of occasions.
Hope you enjoy your time away Gers
Taff, I see you're meeting yourself coming back as usual, you've got me worn out just reading your posts!
Dp1, Hope the little one had her op and is ok.I
We went to Beamish Museum yesterday and it was absolutely packed! We managed to see some of the new 50's installations ( don't know what else to call them) and it was fascinating. It's a wonderful place. Our tickets are valid for a year, so we can go back as often as we like. We only stayed for 2-3 hours, will go back after the school holidays, it's only 15 minutes away for us.
No plans for today except cleaning the bathroom and I want to nip out to our High street when I remember what I wanted.
Thinking of Mehefin today, and others who are sad or poorly.
Take care folks.

Morning all. Thanks for starting us off @scarlet.The forecasted dreadful weather for yesterday turned out to be only awful. There was heavy rain all day but the nasty winds weren't as bad as expected. Thank goodness. My nail appointment wasn't for Wednesday but today. Then I'm off on the coach to Glasgow. It's free with my old biddy pass as is the bus to the airport so very MSE.My thoughts will be Mehefin and his family today. You've done your beloved Dawn proud. All the love you shared for so long is evident in her final goodbye. Take that love with you.Have a good day everyone.11

Thinking of Derek today x
DP1, hope little one has had her op. A colleague's daughter has had that form of feeding for years & gets her GCSE results today x
We're in a state of shock at work after one of the senior managers lost her husband in a freak tragic accident. He & one of their sons were in his car when a tree fell on it & killed him outright 😥 So yesterday was spent sorting the practicalities of me having access to take on diary & email management for her.& slowly sharing the shocking news as we needed to. Her boss is one of my execs & she was really upset by it.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Best wishes and thoughts with Mehefin today.AA9 -
Morning folks and thanks SCARLET. Dismal here too with rain and blustery showers forecast. Yesterday turned out better than expected - no rain, a little bit of sun but the wind was chilly at times. The hat stall owner on Skipton market had a job on retrieving the hats that kept taking off!
Sadly yesterday turned out to be what will be an expensive day in the long run. I managed to break off a whole tooth whilst munching on a bag of very chewy Haribo's. As our dentist now only provides private dental care, and it's impossible to find an alternative NHS dentist here, I dread to think what this is going to end up costing. It's near the front and the gap left looks awful. I shall brace myself and ring up when they open.
I hope Dp1 has better news for us today. I keep thinking of her little DGD. It makes the loss of my tooth insignificant. DEREK I know we are all thinking of you today. GERS happy breakaway. ((HUGS)) for all in need and take care all. xx

Morning all. It's very windy today so far, hope the gazebo stays and doesn't sail off into the sunset or sunrise [ no sun here that's for sure]. Todays jobs are again many and varied. I phoned vodafone to cancel my renewal and phoned for my pac code, wouldn't you know it, suddenly my connection is terrible and I can't hear anyone after about 30 seconds. Last night was the very first night I went to bed early on a milk night [ he comes between 12 and half past] and I wake up this morning to get it early, it's gone and so is the milk holder...bit annoyed about that. I'll let next door know, maybe she can ferret out something....Mehefin, thoughts are with you today...and don't be ashamed of crying. You've done so well over a shocking and so sudden illness and bereavement, be gentle with yourself. dp1, hope the op goes well her, fingers crossed it's not too traumatic. Gers, have a lovely holiday..smooth travelling! Floss, how awful for them... Take care all, on this day of all days, don't forget to carpe diem...Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi9
