How to end fix with Octopus

My sister is on a 12month fix no fee fix with Octopus, she signed up in March for some reason, we want to end it and sign her up to the current one but cannot see how to end the current fix.  I'm hoping someone has done it online and it won't be one of those awfully long frustrating calls.

Just change tariff. Selecting the new fix will supersede the old one automatically.

If the option to change tariff isn't available online when logged in email them at hello@octopus.energy requesting switch to the new fix if you don't want to call. Emails are usually actioned within a day or so.
  • I changed fixed tariffs a couple of times recently, I just called them, it was painless.

It's perfectly possible to do it on-line, the Choose your Tariff page always exists, but the link is removed from the dashboard while a fix is active - the page is

    octopus.energy/dashboard/accounts/accountnumber/tariff-renewal/#/

remembering to substitute your own account number into that address and bookmark it afterwards

Recent fixes have risen slightly, at the end of July they were closer to the variable
