carers allowance and self employed

I submitted my CA app back on May 20th.

I was rejected due to tax year 23-24 earning above threshold. I requested a MR due to this years earnings being below the threshold due to more care given, after sending in all my accounts and speaking to someone on the 8th of this month, he agreed i was in fact entitled to CA from April.

I have still not had a back dated payment nor the weekly one. I have phoned them a few times and getting conflicting information. they all say they see the talk on the 8th that am entitled but there is no payment showing (they say its still with the "back office" and the claim set on dormant)

A few of the people I have spoke to said they have escalated it.

My question is has anyone had this type of issue ? is it a common thing? could the delay be that someone doesnt agree with the MR person ?
