The first poster hasn't been back on since August last year, the 2nd hasn't been on since October - I doubt you'll get an update.1

Ddb29 said:I've just had this happen with Microsoft Office 2 days ago (now massively regretting not just getting the digital version ). They delivered socks instead of the CDs. They are "investigating". But absolutely no trust in a long-term loyal customer. Have the two cases above been resolved satisfactorily?1

I ordered a black MacBook from John Lewis and got a silver one delivered today. When I finally got through to ‘customer services’, I started to explain the situation but had the phone put down on me 3 times. She was also laughing. On the last call, I did get some help and submitted an email that I’ll escalate into a formal complaint. They said to bring it in to the shop and they’ll swap it, this remains to be seen. Don’t trust them any more. Then I saw this thread and it seems I was lucky. At least I got a MacBook and not baby bottles. It’s clear that there is some problem/rot at the heart of JL and a laughing customer service call handler based in South Africa couldn’t care less. I’ll follow up and this and get back with details. I hope this helps the baby bottle person. Something is not right about JL now.0
