Manchester airport hotel

Just booked Ryanair from MAN T3 for an 06.30 Tuesday flight
Don't want to drive (1½ hrs) at stupid times so would prefer an on-site hotel.
We want to park up on Monday afternoon, leave the car at M&G and walk thereafter - no buses or transfers, but struggling to decide which ones actually offer this service.
Raddison Blu or Ibis Budget - are there any others?

Doubletree, Clayton, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn are also within walking distance1

We had a situation in May (from Gatwickt but...), normally we stay overnight at a local hotel and drive the short distance to the airport in the morning. However the 6:30 flight time meant we needed to check in around 4:30 and decided that staying in a hotel made no sense. Had a similar drive time to you and so I stayed up all night and left home at around 3 (wasn't too much of an issue as I don't normally go to bed to 2AM or so anyway. So had a late evening snooze and drove. It wasn't an issue as the roads were relatively quiet and then I was able to snooze again on the 3 hour flight.
I wouldn't use a hotel unless I could check out after a good breakfast!3 -

We are normally Zzzz before 11 so don't think it's going to suit us, but thanks for the suggestion..

We stayed at the Clayton in December before an early morning flight. Rooms are fine, restaurant on site is okay, breakfast was good. Shuttle bus to terminal can be booked on arrival and is free, leaves every 15 minutes or so I think. We were dropped off there, but it's walkable without luggage (drop off a passenger at hotel with the luggage, drive to M&G, walk to hotel?). We've previously stayed at the Radisson and that's walkable on the sky path thingamy - depending on which terminal I think. We only went to the Clayton because the Radisson was so expensive on Hotels.com, and we wanted to use some Tesco vouchers up.1

Finally got round to exploring this in more detail.I *think* that the only ones that we can walk to/from easily are Holiday Inn IHG and Ibis which are both near T2, and Double Tree Hilton which is nearer to T1/3 (we're flying from T3), so think we'll go with this one, unless someone thinks I'm wrong

Crowne Plaza and Clayton are closer to T3 than the Doubletree . Easiest route from the hotels to the terminal is to cross the road in front of the long stay car park and then cross via the zebra crossing and walk through the multi storey car park.1

Goodness me this is complicated!Further investigation reveal that when buying the hotel/parking package for Double Tree and Crowne Plaza, we have to park overnight at the hotel, then drive to M&G ... which we don't want to do.I think maybe Clayton would be the best bet ................ perhaps!!!0

Just to give a follow up report ...Arrived in our car on Monday evening. Parked at Drop and Go' (which isn't M&G)Walked across the road to Clayton.Checked in and was offered the free bus, which we accepted.Hotel was a bit of a maze but ticked the boxes.Next morning 04.30 bus was on time and efficient.Job done!2
