Received DCBL Debit Collection Notice of Intended Legal Action for 'No Valid Parking Session'

Upon the advice of @Gr1pr & @LDast I am starting a new thread for new debt collector letters.
I picked up a PCN for 'No Valid Parking Session' in May 2023. I started receiving letters titles 'Notice of Intended Legal Action Unpaid Parking Charge £170'. I never received the PCN due to a previous mistake of not updating my address after moving. That is all sorted now (registered address, V5C etc), but that mistake has led to me missing two PCNs (i'm referring to an older thread and this one).
Date of letter: 02/07/2024
Date of contravention: 09/05/2023
Client: Parkmaven Limited
Reason: No Valid Parking Session
This one, I hope, will be a little easier as it's for not telling a Holiday Inn hotel that I had my car in their car park by forgetting to use their iPad automated system. I happen to be a Silver Member at this hotel and stay with them regularly and so I assume I'll be able to email them, politely complaining about the charge and get them to cancel it.
It was over a year ago now and I don't remember the specific stay, but I assume one of two things happened:
- I either arrived late and forgot to add my car to the system, waking up in the morning and realising the mistake, putting the car in the system but then not telling anyone, so they just see that my car was not registered for one night.
- or I tried to register the car for the correct amount of nights I was staying but simply made a human error and put 2 nights instead of 3 (for example)
In any case, following the NEWBIES thread I think I need to send this email:

Re PCN number: ####
I dispute your 'parking charge', as the keeper of the vehicle. I deny any liability or contractual agreement and I will be making a complaint about your predatory conduct to your client landowner.
There will be no admissions as to who was driving and no assumptions can be drawn. Since your PCN is a vague template, I require an explanation of the allegation and your evidence. You must include a close up actual photograph of the sign you contend was at the location on the material date as well as your images of the vehicle.
If the allegation concerns a PDT machine, the data supplied in response to this appeal must include the record of payments made - showing partial VRNs - and an explanation of the reason for the PCN, because your Notice does not explain it.
If the allegation involves an alleged overstay of minutes, your evidence must include the actual grace period agreed by the landowner.
Yours faithfully,
My name (owner of vehicle)
My address (registered address of vehicle)

Am I correct and to whom am I supposed to send this? Parkmaven?

But you've already been told that you are too late to appeal if you've started receiving debt collector letters. You never, ever, EVER contact a useless debt collector. Go back and have a read of the Newbies/FAQ thread to get a better understanding of how the process works and where you are at in it.
Come back if/when you get a real Letter of Claim (LoC) and you've read the second post in the Newbies/FAQ thread.2 -
I am able to get the hotel to bin the PCN, but in order to do so they need a PCN number which I don't have (sent to wrong address).
Is it advisable to email Parkmaven to acquire my PCN from them, in order to give that to the hotel so they can cancel it? Their website provides an avenue to do so.
