Hi all,
I need to buy a new central heating radiator which my plumber will be installing as part of a bathroom refit. The choices are:-
Screwfix Flomasta £25, 15yr guarantee,
Toolstation Kudox £25, 15yr guarantee
Wickes Stelrad Homeline £41 delivered, 10yr guarantee.
On the face of it, the Flomasta or Kudox would seem the obvious choice, but plumbers seem to like Stelrad.

Should I go for the Stelrad, or will the others be just fine?

I had a Kudox radiator in my bathroom (from Screwfix). That started to rust horribly from the bottom after 3-4 years. Replaced it with a Flomasta last year. The quality doesn't appear to be hugely different, and I've not had it long enough to see if it goes the same way as the Kudox.Just got the one Stelrad (a 1200x600 type 22). It is in the dining room, so not exposed to the same levels of humidity one finds in a bathroom. Again, only fitted last year, so way to early to form an opinion. Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.1 -
If the radiator BTUs are high enough, it's basically down to aesthetics. Pick whichever you are happy with at the best price.
