Audi Finance excessive call charges

I recently took out a service plan through my local Audi garage, I started getting a receipt every month for the payment. It comes in a large envelope with two A4 sheets of paper. One just has my address on the other one details of the amount paid. I emailed them to state that as I have proof of payment via my bank statement it seemed a waste of resources to send me this statement every month. Having not heard back and still receiving then though I would phone them on the number at the number shown at the bottom of the page. 08700102007 called it to get a message our lines are very busy at the moment, so hung up. I now find I have been charged 45p just for trying to cut down on recycling. Not impressed

It’s not actually about the cost but the fact that a large firm makes it so expensive to contact them, thank you for your reply.
