PIP Review - paper-based assessment

As you said yourself, a GP doesn't really know you well enough to write what you want them to write. I've never found a GP letter to be very helpful anyway.
Most assessments are by telephone anyway so if the assessment is needed and you're asked to attend in person you can request a telephone one.1 -
Can someone help if you struggle? My worry is that I get very anxious and have panic attacks and then disassociate unfortunately, it happened at my last assessment
which then meant the information that I managed to give wasn't that good judging from what I read in the report. 0 -
Yes, they cant fully answer for you but you can have anyone with you. You will need to tell the assessor who will then clarify if you consent to having the assessment with them present.Amathyst said:Can someone help if you struggle? I've got really bad anxiety at the moment, I didn't include on the form that I had to appeal my last award because they lowered it from enhanced to standard but it didn't go to a tribunal, the DWP overturned it without needing one and gave me enhanced again for another 5 years, I'm assuming it should be ok? I've sealed it all up now.
