Reclaimed Teak Parquet Floor Underlay

Myself and my partner are looking to fit some reclaimed parquet flooring in our flat (victorian terrace) when we move in next month. Currently we have what we believe to be either engineered wood or laminate in most of the flat.
My question is what underlay will we need for reclaimed teak parquet? My assumption is that we won’t be able to reuse the one below the existing floor but is this the case?
Thanks
J

If it’s old reclaimed parquet it would have been glued down almost definitely with blackjack, so you will have to do the same there are modern adhesives but they would react to any residual blackjack, you can remove with turps but it’s a dirty job.
Also another thing to take in consideration is preparation of subfloor if screeded latex may be required and research to see if it would react to blackjack, if floorboards you need to ply first.Maybe, just once, someone will call me 'Sir' without adding, 'You're making a scene.'0
