Cheap Energy Club Switch Not Progressing

I have not received confirmation that my switch to British Gas  Fixed Tarriff 12m V8 is going ahead (applied for 19th July 2024).  I have been in touch with my current supplier (Sainsburys) and British Gas and neither have a record of the switch.  Also your site suggests that you would send me an email confirming the switch is going ahead but no email has been received.  However my Cheapenergyclub account states the switch is in progress.

  • Having the exact same problem, contacted BG yesterday and was told they are having problems with switches via energy club and like you my details were not in system, but on further checking he did find them and said they will still honor the switch as the Fixed Tarriff 12m V8 deal is now over, am now waiting for them to contact back.
    Worth giving them a call again and asking them to do a deeper dive?
