AutoEurop car rental - cancel and rebook?

Wondering if anyone has experience of booking overseas car rental with AutoEurope months before travel then asking for full refund a month before departure in order to grab a better rate?
AutEurope terms say this is possible but yet to get a response to the same question emailed to them for confirmation. 

As the better rate for the same date and destination is still with AutoEurope this shouldn’t be new to them.

Yes - done it more than once no problems at all - so long as it is a cancellable rate...

Not yet - about to but thought I'd check in case there were any pitfalls. Subsequent poster says no issues here - thanks for comment.
