Shower screen length to stop water splash

Hi,
I have a 1200 by 800 tray in a recess with the 1200 the back wall of the recess, 800 on each side and then the 1200 opening across the front. Rain shower head plus handheld on rail on the 800 side wall where the screen will be fixed.
Originally was planning on having 700 wet room screen leaving a 500 opening. But now think there is probably bit too much of a risk of water splash out of the 500 gap onto floor? So would a 700 screen with a 300 swivel return panel be sufficient to stop splash given this would allow me to make the 700 into a 1000 screen once in shower or angle it as necessary with the swivel? Anyone got similar set up? I’d prefer the open feeling of a screen to having a sliding or bifold door as long as splashing won’t be an issue.
Thanks

It also depends on the location of your shower head - it would usually be by a short wall in a walk in.1200 is a bit of an odd one as it's rather wide to have a door on, but quite narrow for a walk-in.
I've designed a lot of bathrooms and found 1000 to be my bare minimum for a walk in shower screen, 1100 being ideal. Are you building this room now? Can't you have an open 800mm and have a 1200mm screen?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

the shower head is on the 800 side wall furthest away from where the gap will be between end of screen and opposite side wall.0 -
As much as I would want to avoid a shower door, I feel that the shallow depth of 800mm doesn't help you. Unless you can build a wall forward, I'd either be opting for some kind of door, or you wet-room the area and so it doesn't really matter if you have a bit of splash.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
