Hi - I haven’t received any PNCs in the post and then received debt letters from dclb claiming I owed them £510 for 3 fines. I ignored but now I’ve received. CNBC for £677.36 and I feel sick!
What do I do please? Any advice gratefully appreciated
Thanks

Hello and welcome.
Have you perhaps received a Claim Form from the CNBC in Northampton?
If so, please tell us the Issue Date on it.
I notice you mention 'dclb'. I imagine you mean DCBL.
You also mention 'PNC's. Again it is important to get these things right. I think you mean PCNs - Parking Charge Notices.
Who is the Claimant?
There are no fines involved here.

Spenner78 said:The issue date is 12 Aug.With a Claim Issue Date of 12th August, you have until Monday 2nd September to file an Acknowledgment of Service, but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 16th September 2024 to file a Defence. That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service guidance.Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.2 -
Thank you so much! I’ll make a start tomorrow.0
