Is it time to switch to a fixed tarrif
Hi,
I'm with Scottish Power on their standard variable tarrif.
I'm classed as a high user 5500 units electric & 12200 units gas...
I haven't got nor want a smart meter...
I've seen octopus energy 12 month fixed tarrif is about the same standard charges as what I'm on now & only slightly more per unit than what I'm on at the moment...
What do you guys think & what other non smart meter tariff are worth looking at.
Thanks

The time for the best fixes was about 4 weeks ago.
However, with two potential price cap rises coming its all about your penchant for risk and budgetting.

There is no such thing as a "non smart meter tariff".1

Although all the cheapest tariffs are only accessible to smart meters.2
