We have bought a new set of 3 Bt landline phones

Model: BT Premium Cordless Phone with Advanced Nuisance Call Blocker, Trio Handset

to replace our previous Panasonic landline set..

Model: Panasonic KX-TGA641E  (had these about 15 +  years)

We are with BT and have a BT router and Bt broadband.

the Panasonic set are still plugged in, and we will be switching over soon.

When the new BT landlines are plugged in and we start using them, rather than enter every single contact number one by one which will take ages,

can the contacts be automatically be transferred from the old Panasonic set to these new BT ones?

Think the Panasonic model number you quote (pnlc1008za) is for a handset charger. Is there a model number on the main base unit that plugs into the phone socket, probably beginning KXT....

I've had a look at the instruction manuals (and a bit of discussion on the BT Community Board) and I can't see anywhere that it's possible to move the numbers en masse as you want.

Good news, looks like you only have a maximum of 100 to deal with, less if you cull any defunct ones.

Not so good, numbers are held in each handset individually so you'll have to check each one.

On mine you put all the numbers in one phone then copy to all the others.

Another point to think of when doing the boring job of putting all the numbers into the new phones is that we will all be going over to phones over the internet sometime, so it's best to store the whole number, including area code, even for local numbers.

Do you have a computer, smartphone, or the like? It might be possible (I haven't checked) to transfer contact list from old phone to computer to new phone.
