Delivery guy threw LED Spotlights 2 metres over the fence. are they broken ?

To make it simple

Amazon parcel of LED spotlights to go in the downstairs living room.

When ordered it and they came we were not in so the delivery man threw them over the fence
so it landed on the ground,

he obviously didn’t know it is a fragile item.

the thing is, could throwing them over have damaged them as they are fragile and delicate, and not work?

or they should be fine?

there were 12 of them, in a tight brown box.

Do they work? If so, I guess they are fine. I imagine it's probably fine as they get packaged expecting them to be thrown around. LEDs are not the fragile

I've had people fling things against a wall and over my fence etc.    They have been delicate items but all have been ok.   Seems to be as long as they are packaged properly they can survive a lot.    I've known people who have worked for couriers and the stories they tell about how some of the staff treat the packages is pretty bad.

Simple answer, plug them in & check. If not then open a returns claim with Amazon for faulty, while you can. Not in a couple of years when you come to use them...

Probably goes along the lines of playing football with them I'd imagine.

    Or something similar.
