Another one bites the dust :-)

I won my small claims case at court today due to inconsistent/misleading signage. My counterclaim was also agreed. Thanks for your input and help along this long road. Keep doing what you’re doing.

The representative  tried to claim costs for attendance due to lack of response to letters but this was refused....

    Shakes head in disbelief.

  • Thanks. One thing that did surprise me what how uninformed and disinterested the legal representative was. It was like I was another case and they hadn’t bothered to read my defence and witness statement and counter argue appropriately.

    That's normal
    They are poorly paid
And they do multiple cases per week. Often a couple a day in some cases.

How much is poorly paid ?

£120 is often quoted as the rate for a gun-for-hire advocate.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
