Hello.
My long-term current account and some savings are with barclays, but the branch is long gone.
So what do l put if any forms l need to fill in request a branch?
I've got an address
Barclays bank uk plc
Leister LE86 2BB
Would this do??

Use a Sort Code Checker (several are available) and use what ever it says your branch name is.

If l can find any paper statements.IanManc said:If you look on the final page of your statement for your current account there is a column on the right of the page headed "get in touch" and the fifth item down the list is headed "your home branch". The name of the branch is given there, and you can use the "find a branch" function shown at item four on the list to find the branch address.
Thank you.1 -
Well, l inserted my sort code into one of the online checkers, and my branch came up for the nearest town, but that is closed now too for 8 months.
The rest of the address was more or less what l already had at the beginning of my post.0 -
It doesn't matter, the relationship between physical branches and sort codes was broken years ago. Just use[Deleted User] said:Well, l inserted my sort code into one of the online checkers, and my branch came up for the nearest town, but that is closed now too for 8 months.

if you need an address.
I use an address of a branch that I opened an account at 35 years ago, it's now a branch of Lush. It's sort code lookup shows Chief [large City] Office and it's location is an industrial estate 70 km away.1 -
Two of my accounts, at different banks, were opened at now-closed branches. When playing with an online checker each came up as the town (branch name) of the long-closed branch, but with the address of the branch to where it was moved (still open).[Deleted User] said:Well, l inserted my sort code into one of the online checkers, and my branch came up for the nearest town, but that is closed now too for 8 months.

Seems like what has happened to yours, but maybe yours moved twice. Use the address given.
