Hi everyone,
I am hoping someone can help me.
I am hoping someone can help me.
I went abroad for surgery and need revision. I bought insurance from medical shield and they want a letter from my Dr basically agreeing I need revision. My Drs will not do me one , the insurers say I can use any Dr but how do I go about doing that, I have tried a few private clinics but they also say it’s not what they do . I’m at a loss and don’t have much time left.
Help someone xx

Since you went abroad for treatment won't the foreign doctor do a letter for you?0

More importantly for that matter why not?retiredbanker1 said:Since you went abroad for treatment won't the foreign doctor do a letter for you?0 -
The policy needs a qualified practitioner in the UK to confirm a return trip is medically necessary.
OP, you need to keep trying to find one it seems.1 -
They also need one from the surgeon and uk dr, think I will write letters to lots of drs to see if any can help! X0
